篠原ポップス！展鑑賞ツアー

きたる11月18日、NYのMoMAで「東京1955－1970年」展が開催され、篠原有司男の作品も展観されます。

せっかくの機会ですので、MoMA展でNYへいらっしゃる皆様もふくめて、「篠原ポップス！」展に、キュレーター、作家（予定）と一緒に行く鑑賞ツアーを考えました。

一人で行くと思うとニューヨーカーでも遠い気分ですが、一緒に行けば楽しいのではないかと思います。

日時：11月15日木曜日

出発：ポートオーソリティ・バスターミナルより11時半
　　　集合はバスの行列待ちで11時少し前
　　　帰りは5時のバス（NY到着7時予定）

費用：バス往復41ドルのほかに、タクシー代、飲食費など個人負担

バスに乗る前に軽い昼食をとる、あるいはバスに軽食を持ち込んでいただいても結構です。到着後にまず展覧会鑑賞。その後、ビレッジ・ティールームでお茶を飲むのがオプションです。（大学ですから学生食堂もあります）

最低の参加者は2人を予定しています。

Shinohara's Boxing Painting performance, 9/29

On September 29, 2012, in conjunction with the exhibition Shinohara Pops! at The Dorsky Museum and NYCAS 2012 at SUNY New Paltz, Ushino Shinohara gave a Boxing Painting performance at FAB building's Rotunda.

Shinohara's 1966 print Doll Festival was prominently featured on NYCAS 2012's poster, as well as its program and folder.

Many students and visitors gathered together to see Shinohara's performance.

For this performance, Shinohara used a pair of black gloves, with sponge attached to them (usually he uses a red pair).

He used two colors for this performance: Cobalt Turquoise Light  and Thalo Green.

Look at a guy at lower right in a white T-shirt. He was boxed by Shinohara!
